I found this in my local library and thought what harm could reading this bring. Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t enlightened… But I found this to be one of the first teenage self help guides that doesn’t seem to hate teenagers. Instead of screaming that phones are the reason for unhappiness, this book talked through the science of individual goals, relationships, and contributing to the world and how all these things contribute to our happiness. The book even includes activities to try out new techniques and suggests journaling.

A great read, and evidence that understanding the science behind happiness and how to boost our dopamine can help us better our lives.
