It's a better than the general puppet making book. The puppets are original and not the same old puppet types. It straddles the line between a book for kids and being a book for puppeteers. Great for an art project or a rainy day book or ideas for puppets a puppeteer can make for a quick show or a workshop. Again, there are a couple of spots I would've liked a bit more specific pictures of the actual process, but the pictures that are there are very good.

This author, John Kennedy, is bursting with creativity. He's the Macgyver of puppetry. The book shows how to make 13 fun and incredibly clever puppets, each very different from the others. They are easy enough to be done in a short amount of time and with common materials. Kids should also be able to manage these--with some help, depending on age.
