I have been in love with The Gatekeeper's Saga from the first moment I read it. I love the that the series is based on Hades and his family in the Underworld. I was so happy when Eva announced that she was going to release a spin off series. Hunting Prometheus is the second book in the spin-off series and it was so good!
Once again we are getting to see the lives of our favorite characters but it takes place 16 years after Hypnos. Hermie and Hestie are now 16 and the time has come for them to fulfill their prophecy. There is a lot of adventure and we get to meet new people. There were times when the twins seemed too immature for me but overall the story was great. Then we get to the ending..... WHOA! The ending will leave you speechless! I am anxiously awaiting book number 3!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. 4 1/2 stars.
This book was just out of this world; there were so many twists and turns I simply couldn't keep up - in a good way, there's nothing worse than a completely predictable book.
So many plans put forward, so many tangled webs, so much at stake and the mortals stuck in the middle again, poor Than and Therese!
The only thing that pulled me from the story was when my excellent grasp of geography got the better of me and I had a 'wait it's geographically impossible to get there using that means of travel' and I had to run off and grab my atlas to be sure... but it was explained shortly after so I should just learn to be more patient!
It lost 1/2 a star for being a bit abrupt in the ending although it was necessary for Ms Pohler to do so, it just makes the wait until the next book in 2018 that much longer :)

As the twins grow, Than and Therese realize it's time Hestie and Hestie know about their destiny. Things have become dangerous on Mount Olympus for the Hades family as Zues learns more of the prophecy about Prometheus.
However, the twins don't know who to trust as old allies become enemies and spies for Zues.
It's a hair raising, emotional tale that'll leave you on the edge of your seat! New characters are introduced, adding even more to the storyline. I laughed, cried and wanted to slap a few people throughout the book. The ending will leave you breathless with anticipation.
It was one of Eva's best in the series! I can't wait for the next installment. It's another five-star must-read!

I have to take a deep breath and not scream with the freaking ending of this book, this is too damn savage I hope they take zeus out of the way in the next book

This book was so fantastic I don't know where to begin. Well first off I guess I'll start with how it ended. Morpheus swearing to betray his family? Now that really hurts, but let's face it Morpheus is still green when it comes to whom to trust and his lack of loyalty towards his family when it counted made this more enjoyable if not heartbreaking and makes for a well drawn conclusion to this book. Also putting us in for a marvelous opening for what I suspect is the final installment for the spin-off. Now onto the nitty gritty our main heroes Hermie and Hestie. These two characters have come far from the adorable fearless children that never had a care in the world in the first spinoff book Hypnos. They've now reached their teens and have awesome personalities of their own which are only grow more developed as their journey to save their parents and fulfill their destiny procede's within the book. From start to finish I loved them. From Hesties more engaging upbeat personality which is similar to her mother's along with her more down to earth quirks of loving K-pop. To Hermies more reserved somewhat shy personality which is much like Thans and his geeky habits of of loving anime, VG, yu-gi-oh cards, and comics (my kinda guy honestly). The fact the fulfilled their destinies through social media was probably their most amazing feat. Can't wait to see what these two accomplish as gods now that Poros has given them godhood.
What was also really engaging in this is that our two main focus characters gained some friends along the way and not just friends but also romantic interest. Now onto Therese and Than, though everything with these two was brief it was still engaging to see these two lovebirds and their ever still strong connection with one another. But what was truly beautiful between these two was their affection for their children. It shows how similar they both are to Persephone and Hades when it comes to family though all those of the underworld pantheon shine brightly in that regard. Once Than and Therese were turned into gods once again I rejoiced at it and having them back in action only filled me with excitement.
Now onto pretty much everyone else that did their part in making this book such a five star rating. Pretty much every god that joined with Hades was fantastic. The underworld gods always do their thing. The fact that Persephone was the one who came up with so much and showed her devotion to the cause by staying in the danger zone was amazing and I hope she's rescued soon I know Hades will want the honor himself. Now Poros and Prometheus were a shocker to find together but honestly it made for a great Batman and Robin type thing in my opinion lol.
Everything in this book just screaming final battle interlude that will knock the readers socks off when Storming Olympus comes out May of next year. Zeus definitely has his work cut out for him as do many of the Olympian gods who in truth I hope see enough reason but not so much that they don't get their asses handed to them strongly in the next book. Let's just say the stupidity of excepting Zeus as their ruler along with not seeing the overbearing self absorbed dickheadness that Zeus possess to the point where he's like the a neo Cronos is truly beyond me. And the idiot gods who side with him need to get their asses firmly beat.
Two other things I'll say in regards to this book. Poros' assessment of what kind of change is necessary. The fact that so many prayers have been left unanswered and how the devotion the gods show should be more towards humanity instead of just to things regarding themselves. And Apollos loyalty which in fact in my opinion kind of helped the situations because of when he brought up certain things. In all honesty his loyalty in this book make up for what his relaying of his incomplete visions caused for Hades and Persephone.
Well that's that Zeus needs his ass kicked along with the other Olympians, can't wait to see Therese and Than back and in full action and also see Hermie and Hestie in God action. And can't wait to see what transpires after all is said and done and hopefully a change will happen. #needforchange #stormingolympus #GoPoros #GoPrometheus #GoHades

Oh My Gods! What a twist in this book. I don’t even know where to begin. I really enjoyed the fact that in this book you get to see more of Hermes and Hestie and learn more about their prophecy. I love the fact that the new marcella books have been incorporated into this book and I was completely shocked when I found out that the Captain of the Marcella was actually Prometheus (I like him). Also, can't believe how horrible Zeus is, I mean come on! The twist at the end BLEW MY MIND! Also, I don’t like Morpheus anymore because he betrayed his family (I know it's because he loves Iris and he's had his wings pulled off by Zeus but still not very nice). But I am soo happy that Therese (Goddess of Animal Companion) and Than (God of Death) have become Gods again. I'm really happy that Than is back to being Death and I'm looking forward to seeing what Pete will become God of now. And I'm really glad that Hermes and Hestie are Gods now.

She did it again....
Just when you thought you had the story figured out wham you get hit with a major plot twist that has you sitting on the edge of your seat trying to finish the book to learn what has happen to everyone in the story. Zeus is someone you never would want to cross if you were a God or Goddess of Olympics. He is one mean God and only thinks of himself and not of humankind or for the right an well being of the Gods and Goddesses that are is family. This is a must read as the entire saga get better and better with each book that is added. Make sure if you love Greek Mythology you get your copies and start reading right away.

If you haven't read the Gatekeeper's Saga, I would recommend reading it first. The story of Than and Hypnos with Therese's challenges are essential background for this series. Plus I guarantee you will love the series. This book deals with the twins Hermie and Hestie. They are now old enough to face their destiny and what an amazing tale that makes. Totally can not put down the book midway! Make sure you have enough time to read it end to end before you start it. This is another masterpiece from author Eva Pohler.

This is one of my favorite books in the series. We see a lot of things unfold and also get some things happen that we have been wishing for and thinking there's no way it ever would. But this author can make anything happen. She amazes me. IDK how she does it. I'm so blown away. Now Zeus is up a creek without a paddle. I can't wait to see how that plays out. I can't wait to see what happens with the twins. I loved Promethius and Promos, however you spell it. This was action packed.
This narrator is so amazing! She can do any voice, male or female and also creatures. I love her.

In the continuing saga that is The Gatekeepers, this latest story is as spellbinding as the former books in the series. From page one till the very end, this story will hold the reader throughout. A story that flows throughout, brings much suspense and wonder to the reader, and characters that are very well developed, this story has all the elements a reader wants in a story. If you are a lover of mythology, you will love this story. I would highly recommend it.

This series is highly addictive! I did receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review, however sometimes life happens and I didn't finish until tonight once the release date has passed. I absolutely loved the opportunity to begin a little early, but I've purchased the ebook I'm so dedicated. I cannot wait for next May for the next in the series to release! In the meantime, I'll be re-reading the entire saga 😊

My fourth read from author Eva Pohler. Think Gatekeeper Saga light. Filled with twists and turns you never know where the plot is going next. A good, well-written read, I had high hopes after reading the first two Gatekeepers books but this book (series?) doesn’t measure up to the standards established in those books, Still, I will read more by this author!

this book was a real page turner!! I wish it would have been longer!! it had romance, comedy, action and an ending to revival a season finale of your favorite TV series!! Start with the gatekeeper series so you aren't lost! you'll be addicted after that first story!

Super book , that's the second one in the series. Just had me reading from the first page until the last. The story line is something else and anything this author writes is outstanding. Received an ARC

Oh man, where do I even begin. So much happens and a I’m so sad about a particular thing that happened.I won’t say due to spoilers.
But know that Zeus continues to be a tyrant and we find many begin to stand together. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book.

OMG! This book was intense!!! First of all: I love Poros! He is just too awesome. Second: I never thought I could hate Zeus more, the amount of cruelty he can deliver on his own family is terrible, talk about power crazy. And third, I am not liking Morpheus right, not at all.

I want to scream so hard. Morpheus you bloody idiot! I like the book the only reason it has 4 stars is because Morpheus is a bloody idiot and Zeus is a weak bitch otherwise this was everything
