After all the tremendous contemporary modern Hindi poetry I have been reading since the better part of last year, this was at best disappointing, and that too would be a compliment.
Just about a handful of poems which strike some sort of a chord.
P.S. Started reading the collection for the forthcoming Hindi translation collection/anthology we are working on to be out this year (fingers crossed, or whatever things like that are supposed to mean) only to realize a few days later that the poet will most certainly not make it into the final shortlist.
Translations of a few short decent poems soon, I suppose.
