Once, the world of DieTerra brimmed with magic. Pioneered by magical races and fantastical beings, sorcery and alchemy were the way of life for most. At the head of this world, stood an order of seven individuals known as the Seven Pillars. The Pillars wielded seven magical stones, called the Vivi stones, which enabled them to manipulate and create the elemental forces.
The world is not the same anymore.
For over a thousand years, the Council has ruled DieTerra. Sorcery is forbidden and magic has been driven out of the lands. The Peacekeepers maintain total control. The governments and monarchs of the world bow to the council and operate at their behest.
When Aermes Dakians, an eighteen-year-old lord in hiding, receives a Vivi stone and a ten year old letter from his father, his mission is simple- join the Seven Pillars at the Fiachori Shrine; where others like him have gathered to learn about their respective Vivi stones and hone their abilities.
Unaware of the meticulous plot set in motion by the Council, the Pillars find themselves cornered into an unavoidable conflict- aimed at exterminating their ancient order. The young trainees must collide with the all-powerful Peacekeepers to defend their legacies and in turn, the future of DieTerra.
I don't know why but I really felt bad when 4 out of the 7 pillars die in the first part of the DiTerra Series itself - Perhaps it's due to my expectations of seeing the heroes victorious and at best I had prepared myself for 1 or 2 casualties but 4 ???
Seriously, it was too much , but now I am pumped up for the next part of the series
It's a good read by the way ,if you are into isekai stuff and love Japanese culture ( The author is an otaku himself )

The Forbidden God by Venu G Joshi is one of a kind Fantasy novel, it was honestly a roller coaster ride. To be honest the blurb is nothing compared to what you are in for. The prologue, started with Lorie and Lightning and a attack on their village. It was confusing, the creatures were interesting and it kept me going wanting to know more. You should definitely go through the glossary at the last for better understanding cause there hell lot of beings in DieTerra. The animated pictures here and there make it more interesting and easy to imagine. This is the story of Aermes Dakians, an eighteen-year-old in the world DieTerra which once brimmed with magic. Pioneered by magical races and fantastical beings, sorcery and alchemy were the way of life for most, but not anymore. One day a duend , Olin Bawthrawn comes looking for him , Lord Dakians, also identified as the seventh pillar and from there start the journey of Lord Dakians aligning other pillars to fight the council . You need to read this book to know the wonderful but thrilling and keeping you on your toes story of the world of DieTerra. Looking at the cover I wish I had it in paperback but lockdown has its own limitations. But if you want a break from your daily life you are welcome to the enthralling world of magical beings. Recently I have been reading many fantasy novels and certainly they all are way more exciting to read, this book is the added collection of worlds I would like to escape to.

The Forbidden God, takes you on an excursion with the youthful Lord Aermes Dakians in his journey to adjust all the columns and set them up for approaching war.
In at all times, acquainted with new characters with their impossible to miss ranges of abilities and the effortless portrayals paint a splendid word picture.
In the realm of imagination composing, building up the enchantment framework has consistently been perhaps the greatest test. Venu G. Joshi ascends to that challenge with incredible ability, in this very much idea out dream. Each force that can be utilized has a sensible clarification, helping the peruses comprehend the character's capacities and limitations. There is certainly not a solitary point in the book where the story eases back it's pace, as the writer has kept the book quite brief, in this manner making it speaking to easy going peruses too.
Generally it was an astonishing encounter. With the entirety of the anticipating and the innumerable stones left to be improved in the up and coming parts, truly anticipating the following book in the arrangement.
This is one such kind of fantasy novel that grabs your attention from the very beginning. Even though, the character of Lorie at the beginning & mention of her friend, Eve makes it like a friendly read but as soon as the mention of solitary bear pops up, you can assume there is something in the making. The descriptions are done well, making you connect to the fantasy genre. The portraits here, & there help you imagine the characters with more clarity. As you keep on reading, the addition of more & more characters, let you know you have to sit back & let the story unfold at its own pace. The narration is smooth. But, I have not explored much of the fantasy genre so I don't know how good it is, or where exactly it lacks. There is action, with incidents unfurling. I'd say it didn't feel like connecting to this book due to its length. I felt precision & interest matters for me, as a reader. The cover is catchy though & it gives you the idea of what you're getting into. Well, an okayish read for me.
Book: The Forbidden God Author: Venu G Joshi Genre: Fiction Book length: 332 pages . . It's no surprise that one of the best book of all time should be read. I guess this fiction book is one of them. It's an epic fancy fiction story dealing with idiosyncratic event in Dieterra. The livings of DieTerra, lords and ladies are on expedition to encounter the hassle. It's one of the coolest fiction book I've read after so long and lucidity can be seen from the narration. I was mesmerized with it's turning point in every part, which wasn't boring at all and the characters were identified easily!
Before getting to the story, I would like to talk about other factors that made this book stand out.
The cover - it is catchy and attractive and a reason for many to get the book. I loved the illustration and it gives us a hint of the story.
Writing and narration - The writing style is amazing and a major interest of the reader. The language used was lucid, and easy to catch up. The narration was done in a good manner.
Characters and Powers - Each character is uniquely made and presented with precision. Each was given a superpower and backed up by logical reasoning for the same. Not at any point will you feel anything is written without explanation.
Story and Plot - The story is about the young ladies and lords of DieTerra who are finding a way to win over their council. Its a ride of ups and downs where the children are put up against a powerful council and they aren't left with much choice except to fight for their people. A mythological rollercoaster with an extreme edge to the story.
The forbidden god by Venu G. Joshi is an amazing dream novel. The story of the book is about youthful Lord Aermes Dakians who is in his mission to adjust all the columns and set them up for approaching war.
Eighteen year old Aermes Dakians receives vivi stone and a 10 year old letters from his father.
Vivi stone is basically stone which create elemental forces. This Stones are owned by seven individuals called seven pillars.
The book is a journey of Aermes Dakians reaching fiachori where others like him have gather to know their vivi stones and abilities.
The story takes you on a rollercoaster when these little youngsters are facing an incredible built up association, in the midst of the considerable number of plans and double-crossings with no decision however to battle for their kin and their respect.
I especially love the manner in which the writer has presented character in the book.the story is all around paced from the earliest starting point to end. The story is all around manufactured and will stuck you on your seat till the end, a generally excellent dream
This fascinating book with an intriguing title is brilliant in its script but not a very easy read. The prologue confused me rather than introducing me to the tale. After two or three chapters I liked the story but couldn't be connected to it, this made me recheck the content list and I found glossary.
After checking the last page I returned to the prologue to restart the book, this time I could entry the tunnel of magic completely into the story. Once connected the reader will enjoy the rollercoaster into a magical world where a youngster is preparing the world of DieTerra for the approaching war.
In this book the author has maintained a crisp journey of magical fantasy with suspense and thrill to the very end. The start may be rocky but with the ride reader can grasp each character and turn (trust me there are many both characters and turns) without losing the track of the tale. I think in the present during real life, the world of DieTerra is a brilliant place to get lost.

The book is just an awesomr piece of fantasy. It takes you to a world of imagination and takes you to a roller coaster ride. The author had really worked very hard in this book and is visible. In a time where people love harry potter books, we are glad that we too have such fantasy writers. The best part about the book is it's story, narration and the pictures accompanied.
