Delilah is an Angel making up for the things she did in her human life

Jack is the owner of a successful hotel and casino in Law Vegas. Lucy is a showgirl who dances in his casino. His best friend since high school freshman year visits and asks him to take care of his egg while he clears up some stuff. The dragon mother was killed. Jack agrees, though he has no idea how to care for the egg. Delilah is assigned to bring Jack and Lucy together after Lucy witnesses Sean being murdered by the mob. This is a great story with a very happy ending.

Vegas Baby Dragon

This is the first of this series I have read, and I’m definitely going back to the beginning! I really enjoyed this book, and the way the relationship between the H&h worked out. I also liked the overall premise of angelic intervention. It had action, danger, love, and a sweet HEA!

Jack Damon is a hotel and casino owner in Las Vegas, and also happens to be a dragon shifter. His best friend, Sean, is in trouble with the mob and leaves his baby dragon egg – just about ready to hatch – with Jack for safekeeping. His mate was dead, but he refused to say any more that might get Jack into danger.

Jack knows nothing at all about taking care of a dragon baby, or anyone else but himself! He decides he needs Lucy Carter's help since she is a showgirl who works for him in his hotel. It should have been simple to ask Lucy to come to his rescue in this crazy situation. However, Lucy hates Jack because of his new tip-sharing policy and the battle lines are drawn! The feisty banter between the two of them will keep the reader highly amused! And when Lucy runs into trouble with the same bad guys Sean is running from, things get even more complicated!

Unknown to the battling keepers of the egg, an angel, earning her redemption, gets assigned her next mission which again seems like a simple solution that could save the day -- all Delilah will need to do is get Jack and Lucy to fall in LOVE! Delilah was forewarned that she may have to bend the rules a little bit for this one, because we know how this has worked out so far. This was a great fun read that had me laughing out loud quite a few times the banter between the main characters has to be read to be believed they really play of one another.

Jack Damon owns a casino in Las Vegas and his new tip sharing policy has put him at odds with one of his showgirls Lucy. However he will have to bite his tongue and deal with her as he needs her help Because unbeknown to most Jack is also a dragon shifter and his best friend and fellow dragon shifter has had to flee the mob leaving his about to hatch dragon egg in the care of Jack. Jack knows nothing about dragon eggs or dragon younglings so he needs Lucy's help. That is they manage not to kill one another first. With the same people that want Sean now also after Lucy Jack will have to step up to keep her safe Meanwhile they have to contend with an angel who to get her redemption needs to get these two to fall in love Can Delilah cause this miracle or are they already half way in love anyway You will have to read to see

And you thought things just happened for a reason. Delilah is an Angel Agent under the Angelic Dmensions Council of Three, working on redemption. Katz is her supervisor. She has a crush on him. Delilah just makes the call then sits back and watches. Sean in trouble and on the run from the mob. Jack and Sean best friends from high school. Sean's mate, Violet died in a car accident while being chased. So Sean leaves the egg with Jack while he tries to get his life together preparing for his child's birth. Jack, does what he can to care for the egg. Lucy, running from a stranger stalking her witnesses an unspeakable act. She tells her friend, Julie who happens to be dating a low level mobster. Does Julie deliberately or accidentally betray Lucy? Does Lucy tell the police? Does Lucy seek shelter? Does Lucy show up to work and tell Jack? Can Jack save baby blue egg? Excellent story! Katz has a new assignment for Delilah and it's gonna be another doozy. Jack owns a casino and is known as a hard (but fair) man. Lucy is one of his showgirls and is not a fan. When Jack's best friend, Sean, frantically begs Jack to take care of his egg while he handles some "business" he knows he's out of his element but agrees. Unfortunately, Lucy accidentally witnesses Sean not successfully handling this business. Now the mob is after the egg and Lucy. Running on pure panic when Jack finds out Lucy is in danger also, he kidnaps her. They are rather funny even in this suspenseful and dangerous story. Bonding with the egg is the best part of the whole book. Delilah in her unconventional ways provided a way for Lucy to understand and accept the idea of dragons and the egg. I laughed even though I was scared for her and the babe. I love this series. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.

Vegas Baby Dragon by Chloe Vincent is a book in the Guardian of Mates series. In this book, a dancer Lucy at a casino accidentally views the murder of Sean, who happens to be a close friend of the casino’s owner dragon shifter Jack. She’s on the run from the killers and Jack kidnaps her and stashes her at his home to keep her safe. This is the beginning of an intriguing romance between two people very different people. I loved how the plot in this book caused these two characters to end up together. The personality traits and the dialogue was extremely funny and very entertaining. I really enjoyed how Lucy kept surprising Jack throughout the story and I loved the ending. This is the perfect read for anyone who is looking to read a fun shifter mate romance. Vegas Baby Dragon is a story full of murder, mystery, and romance.

He is a wealthy dragon shifter who is a hotel entrepreneur. He has a problem as his friend is on the run and he he ends up with his friend's dragon egg. It needs a mother when it hatches into a dragon baby. He wants his hot dancer that he has the hots for to be the mother. She ends up on the run for the same reason his friend is. What happens to that prescious egg and her. Does her and him end up together. A really good read that is well written. Jack owned Jack's Joker casino, his friend Sean came to see him because he was in trouble with the mob and to give Jack his egg to keep until he got back for it. Lucy was one his showgirls and someone was chasing her so she ran into a garage to get away from the person. She hid behind a vehicle and saw the mob kill Sean, so she told her friend that told her boyfriend that worked for the mob so they were hunting her to kill her. Then the Angel Deliah called her and told Lucy what happened and she also called Jack to go and save her so the mob wouldn't kill her. Together they were able to figure out how to save the dragon egg and themselves, so they ended up together!!

This is my first read from this series. It still worked as a standalone. Although the characters hate each other when they are introduced to us, they seem to find neutral ground. As soon as that happens, bang!!!!!. We got a story. There was a lot of action and a bit of suspense. And of course, dragons in Vegas, just wow! Our main characters need each other more than they could have imagined. With a bit of angelic help, things just might work out. Great read!

Delilah’s task in Las Vegas is to get Jack and Lucy together, even though they have clashed about show policies. Complications arise when Jack’s friend, Sean is murdered, leaving his child an orphan under Jack’s care. Lucy is the only witness and has a target on her back. Jack must do whatever he can to protect her. Vegas Baby Dragon is an enjoyable Novel in the Guardian of Mates Agency Series that I recommend.

Being the hardcore Delilah fangirl that I am, I was expecting to enjoy this book, and it did not disappoint. She’s back, and the world is a better place for it and her hilarious attitude and antics in her effort to bring two soulmates together while helping defeat bad guys. It goes without saying that I can’t wait for the next book in this series, but I’ll say it anyway ;) This series is perfect for everybody who enjoys paranormal fiction, witty writing, original plots, steamy scenes, and HEA’s.

Lots of action in this one!

Wow! This starts with an argument between the two main characters, Jack and Lucy, and the action ramps up from there! Having a dragon egg in the middle of this whole mess just makes it even more wild. Delilah really has her work cut out for her trying to finagle and make this all right. I enjoyed all the funny moments.

The pace is fast, the tone is intense, and the storyline is character and action oriented with some steamy scenes. The characters are vivid and superbly detailed. I liked watching them grow and develop.

Great addition to the Paranormal Romance genre!

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.

The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

A dragon shifter, a dragon egg and a showgirl end up in hiding together in Vegas. This is an interesting story with great characters with a dragon egg connection. Jack and Lucy proved that great chemistry can happen anywhere and at any time. This is a well written book filled with drama, danger, suspense, mystery and a great ending.
