One night, when Bat wakes up at his usual time, he discovers a two-toed sloth hanging next to him―on his branch! Can Bat and Sloth be friends? Sloth thinks so. Bat's not so sure.
An early reader chapter book. The chapters are only a few pages each. Bat and Sloth meet and bond over hanging upside-down. Then they continue to get to know each other through various situations. The relationship has some ups and downs. Honestly, I found this tedious, but my kids enjoy it.
Bat and Sloth meet. Bat doesn't think they can be friends because they are too different, but sometimes having differences is good. They also have things in common, too. Cute story.
“Two heroes in a tree, one is you, and two is me.” I loved this Time to Read book about two unlikely friends. A perfect early reader with lots of opportunities for science lessons.
A cute little story of two critters who decide to become friends despite their differences. The writing has just the right amount of sweetness, silliness, and wit. I especially appreciated the various animal facts woven into the story, and the fresh storyline that stands out from a sea of completely predictable children's books. Very enjoyable.
