Remington Kane is an American author that writes action-packed thrillers. The author might be unfamiliar to some people because Remington Kane is actually a pseudonym for Donald Wells.

Donald Wells has garnered a reputation for writing darker and somewhat serious novels about killers. The author was born in New Jersey. He never really left and has since made a home there. Like most of his peers, Donald Wells was an avid reader as a child.

He spent many an hour devouring every book he came across. And it wasn’t long before he began to yearn for the chance to write. Like many aspiring authors, Donald Wells knew he had the capacity to tell stories. However, he was a little hesitant to venture into such uncharted waters, not only because he didn’t know where to start with regards to writing a book but also because he didn’t have confidence in his own ability to produce compelling fiction.

Again, like most notable authors, Donald meandered about for a while. Rather than going into publishing the first chance he got, Donald tried his hand at various odd jobs. He worked as an insurance salesman, a Real Estate Sales person, and even a Retail manager.

The jobs, though seemingly meaningless in the grand scheme of things, did wonders for the author’s writing capabilities. Whether he was driving trucks or cleaning floors, Donald gained insight into the workings of the world.

He met unexpected people and heard their intriguing stories. He came across numerous strange encounters and even participated in some of them. He essentially dipped into so many unique aspects of life that it came as no surprise that he had more than enough stories rattling around his head when it finally came time to write his first novel.

Not that many authors can claim to have been offered a chance to act as bodyguard to a drug dealer. Since getting his first book sold, though, Donald has finally settled in his career. The author loves writing novels and there is nothing he else he would rather be doing. The fact that he has found a way to make money out of his passion makes him one of the luckier individuals in the world.

By the time Donald Wells began writing as Remington Kane, he had already become established as a novelist with numerous thrillers under his name. However, writing as Remington practically took over his life.

This is because Donald has achieved more success writing as Remington Kane than he did producing novels under his real name. Kane is best known for the Tanner series of novels. Tanner is a hit man who accepts a job to take out a mob boss.

When he is betrayed and thrown into prison, Tanner thinks of little else besides getting revenge. And once he finally gets his freedom, the hit man becomes a one man army, engaging in a brutal way against a crime organization known as the Conglomerate.

Each new book sees Tanner raising the stakes by finding a new target that will sting the Conglomerate in ways they couldn’t possibly fathom.

Remington Kane has been praised for the Tanner novels because Tanner is such a refreshing hero. The protagonist is so average physically, devoid of the exaggerated traits that most action heroes seem to bear. If not for his natural fighting and survival instincts, one would be hard pressed to tell Tanner apart from any other ordinary man on the street.

Bullets for breakfast, bombs for lunch!

On the way to breakfast Tanned and Joe Pullo end up in the middle of a terrorist plot/ shoot out. Using a rifle and infrared scope they manage to kill some of the feeds and follow the rest to a warehouse. What they find is that the terrorists were double crossed and killed by their up-line. Determined to find whomever is behind everything, Joe and Tanned start back tracking guys who go by E,D,C,B, and A. Needless to say the action is both got and heavy as only Tanned can make it. The reason for everything can only be revealed by reading the story. I'll only way you won't be disappointed.

Tanner - books 1 to 31

I have just finished all the current books in the Tanner series, reading basically back to back. If you like an exciting yet easy read then I cannot recommend them enough. They kept me gripped the whole way through and I am waiting for the latest to be published.
Long may Tanned continue!
Thank you for these which have my sanity in these troubling times. Stay safe and well

Some people just can’t catch a break as Tanner finds out in the latest entry in Remington Kane’s assassin series. When a bloodbath erupts, Tanner and his buddies can’t turn a blind eye. Progressing through the alphabet to find the kingpin of the nefarious plot, Tanner, Pullo, and Jake Caliber tread carefully through an obstacle course of double-crosses to eliminate an international threat.

Bullets Before Breakfast

I liked it. It’s a good read. Pure escapism. Which in this day is a good thing. You know that Tanner is going to win. Seeing how is the fun part. It was good to see Joe Pullo again in this book also. I have read the entire series and have enjoyed it. Recommended.

Remington Kane is terrific

Wow, more outstanding novels involving our favorite character Tanner!!! My wife and I just completed novel number 31. That was the best one yet. In these very difficult times, reading an action packed novel while being asked to stay at home, is so necessary and warranted. Thank you and please keep writing.

Fast moving thriller.

Fast moving thriller that has Tanner and friends trying to prevent the contamination of countries gold reserves after getting involved by being in the area of initial assault. Plenty of action and an enjoyable read although the actual plan of contamination was a bit obvious.

Off to a New Adventure

Looks like our boy Tanner may be heading in a new direction. If so, could open all kinds of new plots and be a lot of fun and exciting. Go for it Remington....

Bullets before breakfast

Typical Tanner in the action and his friends as they worked their way through the excitement and anticipation of a solution to the big problem. Interesting concept with the dirty bomb and prosthetic leg.

Bullets: Book 31

The Tanner book in this series is focused on international crime chaos and a lot of murder. There’s an introduction of a new friend for Tanner and Joe Pullo. His name is Jake Caliber and I have a feeling we’re going to see more of him.

Best as usual

Remington Kane has outdone himself on this one. I was amazed at how intricate and detailed it was plus it was a lot of fun to read. Such a devious mind.

A better storyline than many of the Tanner thrillers. Dialogue is still "no brainer".

Shades of Goldfinger.

Another thriller

I'm a fan of all of Kane's books. He has a way of writing fiction yet much of it is so real and we have no idea what really goes on in high government. Must keep up reading.

It’s always great when friends work together

Once again Remington Kane delivers with “Bullets Before Breakfast another great read in the “Tanner Saga”.

Personally I’ve yet to read any Remington Kane I did not like. He’s an amazing author and his books are always superbly edited.

I read it in less than a day. Hard to put down.

I highly recommend this book, as well as all the others before it.

Thank you Remington Kane.
