A truly stunning paranormal, alien threat novel, with just the right amount of erotic adventure to add an exciting dimension.

Maggie is happy with her life that is settled in a comfortable routine encompassing her boyfriend, the food that they both enjoy, her beagle, and her love of online gaming, and, sex. She is also highly clairvoyant and telepathic. Her boyfriend accepts this as a part of her. All of this changes dramatically when an unusual incident impinges on their life and they become involved in a battle between the forces of good and a malignant evil force that threatens not only their life together, but also the future of humanity. Of course things get even more interesting and complicated when her boyfriend's best friend turns out to be an ex of hers who broke up with her because of military service. To make matters even more complicated, she loves erotic situations, and he is not exactly cold himself. Nor are some of the other characters who are drawn into a sinister whirlpool together with them as they become the last hope of humanity's battle against sinister forces that look like cockroaches, and that it is not even aware of, at this stage. An exciting and absorbing book with astonishing characters and a dramatic yet pleasant plot that could make a gripping movie. I look forward to the next book in the series by this talented author.

Descent into Darkness is an incredible novel set in Melbourne about good versus evil written by Ingrid Fry. Wow, this book stunned me in so many levels. I'm a fan of mystery stories so I was really excited to dive into this one. Personally, it fulfilled all my expectations up to the end. And I get the feeling THAT it’s only the tip of the iceberg for the series, wherever it’s going to end up.
The writing style of the author totally knocked me off my feet! She includes gorgeous details and vivid language. As a fantasy novel writer, she seems to have such a talented mind and imagination that she is able to create incredible stories that arouse readers’ curiosity, like this one.
When I opened the book, I thought that it will be difficult for me to keep the focus on so many pages, 326 exactly, but the 35 chapters are so absorbent that it motivated me to finish it as soon as possible.
I really enjoyed reading this book, I absolutely recommend it.

What a piece of fiction! Written in the first person, this tale has everything tales need to have: mystery, fantasy, paranormal elements and suspense. This tale is set in Australia and it revolves around the mysterious sequences of events that happen after two humans and a dog had an accidental contact with a mysterious crystal ephere.
Maggie, the main character here, has, until now, had a normal life where she followed a routine which included walking her dog every day. The encounter with the sphere has definitely turned the tables.
Throughout the tale, there are plenty of events readers would not see coming and would be absolutely surprised. Twists and turns are the main ingredients of this narrative and what would hook readers. The pacing and the author’s narrative style are on point.
It was worth the read and that is why I recommend Descent into Darkness to any type of reader looking for something out of the ordinary.

Hurray for Maggie!

This book is so action packed until the very last chapter! This story got my blood pumping as if I was running a marathon the whole time. It is a page turner for sure. Maggie is living with abilities to see spirits and she uses it to try to help her in this story. The premise of the book is her trying to save the world from evil entities. The journey is great and I was absolutely glued to the book. I want to point out that I did not put this book down to eat which is something to say because food is important. That’s how good it was. I needed to know it all. I liked Maggie a lot because I feel as though I can relate to her and a lot of the things she likes and dislikes is like me. She is a very realistic character and that makes it so you feel connected or attached to her which makes everything that happens to her in the story just way more immersive. A good read indeed!

Book 1 Descent into Darkness of the Crystal Sphere Series set me off on an adventure with characters just about willing to do anything to save each other and the planet from the "Dark Force". This book, for me, was funny in places that I laughed out loud. It was also very sexy and even sometimes a little "kookie". It set the scene for ongoing adventure whilst its lovable characters set out to find the Crystals that can help save the world. I fell in love with all of them, especially "Boo", the telepathic dog and Maggie and her "quirky" ways. Also the bonus with all the books is Maggie's "Spotify" playlist that you can listen too. Who doesn't love great music along with great books.

This book has a bit of everything, mystery, fun, hot romance and intriguing characters, not to mention a telepathic beagle! A very entertaining well written story that kept me reading well into the night. Look forward to continuing the journey.
