Barbara B. Smith is my dad's mom and it was so fun for me to finally read one of her books. I loved the stories she told and it was fun to learn more about her life and her time serving as the general Relief Society president. I loved it too because I really felt like she was talking right to me. The way she expressed herself and what she spoke about would be the things she would tell me if she were here today and it really touched me. She is a great example about loving life and about making the most of it. I am so grateful for the lessons she taught me and is continuing to teach me.
