Deep theology presented simply enough for the non-theologian to understand. I had avoided studying the book of Hebrews for years because I thought the "warning passages" and other parts would be too difficult to understand. Dr. MacLeod's short commentary was fascinating, insightful, and understandable. Highly recommend.

I found this commentary to be very clear and helpful throughout its presentation, and extremely insightful in some places. It is more of an overview treatment of the book of Hebrews--it doesn't present all the different viewpoints about various interpretive questions--but I think it could be equally valuable as either an aid for a read-through of Hebrews (which is more what I used it for--a chapter a week for Sunday night Bible study at church) or a resource alongside others for more in-depth study.
