During that time Sheila appeared on Broadway; magazine covers; television shows and commercials; fashion shows and national magazine advertisements.At the age of eight, she became a competitive ice skater and figure-skated for more than 20 years. Sheila managed forty-hours of practice every week and eventually became a gold level skater.Sheila’s career kept her so busy that she only attended school two days a week. Sheila started writing poetry thirty years ago at a time when she was raising three young children and dealing with a troubled marriage. She found writing therapeutic placing her thoughts on paper helped ease the agony in her heart.An Award-winning poet that has compiled a myriad of her award-winning poems into a two-volume set of books titled, "Words Say So Much" Volume I & Volume II.
