A lovely book by a wonderful person, Lexie asks "What, exactly, is Spirit? " and then delves into biographical sketches of various people and how they characterize "spirit". The sketches include people close to her such as her mother, and famous people such as Jimmy Carter. Unknown people she has met and spoken with like homeless "Leo", and unrepentant con-artists like Donald Trump. She approached all of these people to ask them what their experiences were and captured key quotes in this book. Beautifully illustrated by Peter Max (who is also sketched).
