A Second Chance Christmas: An IR Collaboration

Enchanted Christmas by Emery C. F. Bryant: Kennedy Watkins finally decides to take the plunge and chase her dreams, which includes moving to another state to get a fresh start. Unfortunately, what she doesn't expect is for her aspirations to be upturned by a serious accident, which brings the handsome, yet brooding Zane Reilly into her life. After the universe determines that "happily ever after" is just not in the cards for him, Zane decides he is better off alone. It would take a miracle for him to change his mind, especially after the cards he was dealt, but then he meets Kennedy. Zane opens his home to help Kennedy recover, who he suspects is all alone for a reason. But the universe is determined to make amends for what was taken from him, and redefine what a "Christmas miracle" truly means. Unexpected Christmas by K. Alex Walker: Massy Goodwin is returning to her hometown with one goal in mind: to save the history of the town she holds dear to her heart, at any cost. What she doesn't plan for is the handsome and charming, Ty Osborne. The passion between them sparks unexpectedly, erupting into a lustful winter night neither saw coming. Massy tries to stay focused on her mission, but Ty is in her blood. Ty is hooked from their very first conversation, and can't get enough of Massy's mind, her skin, or her taste. Desire consumes him. Need controls her. They only have one week before they have to go back to their lives, but Ty isn't sure he can let Massy go.

First story ok...second story good

I would rate the book as a whole 3 1/2 and that would be based of the second story by K Alex Walker. The first story, about Zane and Kennedy was an OK short story, which probably shouldn't have been. There were several questions that I had that was not wrapped up as neatly as they should have been with the story being so short but it was OK. The second story was done right, even though it was just as short, the story and characters came together and made for a great Christmas novella

Red for Christmas!

I found the second story with Zane and Kennedy to be very heartwarming! Two lonely people brought together by a auto accident. It was the second time around for Zane, but this time he received a new life! The first time, lives were taken from him during the Christmas season and so his dislike of the season began! Now they have each other and a reason to celebrate the season! And "This Christmas" now meant more for Kennedy than just a favorite song!I

I did not like the first story, at all! I would give it a one of two star, at the most!

Romantic Christmas stories

Both stories were well written. Loved the open and honest relationship between Ty and Massy. These two wounded souls recognise each other's worth and a powerful and passionate relationship is born. I just loved it. Similarly, in the second story Zane and Kennedy have lost everything but themselves and it takes a run in with death for Zane to realise that he truly loves Kennedy. Both wonderful stories
!!Thank you!

A powerhouse of love

Both stories are amazing and simply wrapped in love. Love has no timeline. Love is that clear concise truth that goes soul deep. These couples were fun and easily relatable. The straight forward truth of want from Massy was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend reading this double dose of love with no timeline of is it or isn't it love.

Farfetched

I didn't realize that this book was really two stories in one. I had to skip ahead to make sure that I downloaded the right book. Both stories were OK, but not believable. The characters were fine, dialogue was good, and the sex was hot. I just had a hard time with the instalove. They were quick, cutsey holiday reads .

Loved both books!👏👏👏

Two awesome stories for the price of one. I loved the way the stories were told. The subject matter was interesting and held my attention throughout the story. I could picture some of the scenes in the books. It's awesome when this happens. I've read most K. Alex Walker's books but this is my first Emery C.F. Bryant book. It won't be my last!!😀🙌

Both stories in this collaboration were good and both stories are about second chances of finding love. The first story is of two people who find love after discovering those they thought loved them did not love them back and the second story was finding love when you least expected and when you are running away from the pain of your past.

Two Unexpected Christmas Loves

Pretty good duo...some over-reliance on histrionics and tropes. A couple of distracting typos as well. But for lovers of mostly-uncomplicated love stories where the Black woman gets the win (with a ginger; including mildly steamy scenes)... it’s almost certain to float your boat!

Kennedy running off into the snow was a case of classic emotional manipulation - she knew Zane would freak and hunt her down, thereby setting the scene for the 'GRAND REVEAL' dumb ass book, Kennedy wanted any man to latch onto, so she spread her legs for the first viable man that met that criteria - especially after she saw his 'cabin' and realised he had a few bucks.

Just OK

I didn’t finish the first book. I did not like main character. She got mad because he wasn’t ready to share a tragedy when she wasn’t even ready to share her own story. The second story was better written but still just OK.

Two Great Stories

I enjoyed reading both stories. Would have liked to have gotten to read more. Both couples seemed to have had something they were either fighting for something imported or a hurt that they've suffered in the past!

Holiday Love

These novellas are perfect to read on a quiet holiday evening. Such hope after heartbreak, swoony real life guys and sweet ladies—it’s poignant and sexy at the same time. Just right mini love stories. Totally recommend!

Awww..🤗

Ok, yes the tales are a lil mushy..but there's enough drama and realistic issues to keep one engaged. I loved both couples, despite the "Instalove". They are an unusual pairing but their couplings are just swoon worthy. Few typos..but overall..delightful..👏

Surprise

Well, these two stories were a surprise: unexpected, engaging, good characters, and good, as it turned out, two stories. I enjoyed them both.
