Rate this book

This book is an invitation to rethink strategic foresight in light of artificial intelligence (AI). The authors have used their understanding of strategy, recent experience, and new technologies to provide readers with an overview of how AI can influence strategic foresight. They claim that there are blurring lines between human decision-making and mechanical wisdom. They take the case of scenario planning to demonstrate the convergence between human and artificial intelligence and how far our automated decision-making systems can be optimized. They examine the potential for integrating sensing machines with human intuition, suggesting that more effective strategic planning is possible by applying AI to human intuition. The book can be insightful to strategic thinkers and foresight practitioners.
