Klaus George Roy was THE program annotator forThe Cleveland Orchestra through my formative years; his wit and erudition set the bar high for any successor. Included are his won writings as well as contributions by the likes of Arthur Loesser, whose essay on coughing ought to be reprinted once a year in programs everywhere, and Robert Shaw. Any music lover will love this book; Clevelanders will revel in it. I got my copy at a library book sale. It may be out of print, so this was find. I just about fell over when I found it was autographed!
