Enjoyable spy novel. Fast paced and the characters were interesting, a bit of humanity and romance, not just "boy's own adventure". I would read more of these.
A young Irish boy witnesses the murder of his family by British forces (the black and tans). Years later, after immigrating to America, he is approached by the IRA to work with nazi Germany against the British. He travels to England and befriends a woman in the hope of gaining confidential information but begins to fall in love.

Who'd be a spy!!😁
A very straightforward spy thriller,defiantly a good read,not unlike some of early Ken Follett spy novels in some of the instances and style.Easy to read,plenty of action to hold ones attention,the end not quite finalised so maybe later a continuation.😎All in all I enjoyed the novel.☺

Really loved this book and the time it was written .Dollar was trained as a spy to find secrets from the british trained by the IRA after witnessing loosing his family from Ireland to the British who shot them dead !he was sent to USA .
Won't say more but a great read and has a very surprising ending !!

the title says 'A gripping World War Two spy thriller you won’t want to put down'
well the proof is in the pudding and i have to say i agree with the tittle. i really enjoyed the story
its a page turn true enough,
i am not sure if there is a sequal but there should be
its the story of a Nazi spy doing his best to do his best to disprute an operarion during ww2

A very interesting subject about which I knew very little. How Churchill moved the UK's gold reserves to safety in Canada in 1940. The author employs a spy acting for the Germans as the protagonist in a believable fictional account of the true story. The only weakness was his anachronistic description of a weapon which the vast majority of readers would probably not notice but brought my reading to a sudden halt. This is not a good thing as the reader relies on the author to be meticulous in his research with a story like this. However, this did lead me to find more factual accounts of the events and enhanced my knowledge of this particular episode in WW2 history.
