It’s a masterpiece. The way the story is written feels so well constructed that I’m hoping this is how things were always meant to go in the actual series.

thoroughly enjoyed it; this work seriously contains some of the most beautiful sentences i've ever read. Especially the first half of this was breathtaking, writing-wise and plot-wise. some of the later plot points are awfully convenient, but it’s a fix-it-fic, so that's kinda the point. the story provides a happy ending for most characters who deserve it, which was actually nice to see.
