"Peter and Robert, introduced in We Are Best Friends, are together again. As the boys look forward to Peter's two-week visit, they are both excited and a little apprehensive about how the other might have changed. All concern soon vanishes and they enjoy all the things they used to...Illustrations are bright and joyous. A simple, reassuring story for friends everywhere."--School Library Journal.

So this book is a sequel to We Are Best Friends. It's similarly old-fashioned. This one really has no conflict. Best friend returns to town for a visit. It's fun. Old friend meets new friend (opportunity for conflict, at least conflicted feelings, but there's not really). They all go to the park and see all their other friends. If you want a boring, non-controversial books, this is it.
Read 6/9/21 Genre: Fiction Grade: 1-2 This book was pretty good. I like the concept of the friends visiting each other and being nervous that each other changed. Towards the end when they fell back into the way they were when they lived near each other was happy to see. I liked the reunions they had with all of their friends. It was a cute book.
