Where's the Tiger?

Five beautifully illustrated spreads show a series of jungle animals that include a peacock, a monkey, a tortoise, and a tiger all hiding behind bright felt flaps. With a mirror on the final page, this is the perfect book to share with very little ones.

I really like the idea of having felt flaps because there's a chance they will hold up better than paper flaps. I experimentally pulled on the felt and it can definitely be yanked out with enough force. Definitely need to emphasize being gentle with books. I especially love the bright colors of the felt! Some of them are very vibrant. Thank you to Nosy Crow for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.

The book introduces four animals living in the tropical forest through adorable characters. The flaps in this book are as interesting as those in the other books; the peacock is hidden behind a bright blue dome... The mirror on the last page is a surprise for the little ones. However, adding 'Mr' and 'Mrs.' to the animals seems too stereotypical and unnecessary.

Simple and cute. I love the felt flaps. The mirror at the end, like many mirrors in board books, is so distorted that it’s creepy (and this is a brand new library book). Maybe we can all just agree to not put these crappy “mirrors” in board books?

We like the felt flaps and peekaboo mirror, but I don't like how the animals are referred to as 'Mr' and 'Mrs'. I would prefer if the book said, 'Where's the tiger?' as that's more useful for a toddler.

Another solid book in the "Where's..." series. I particularly like the fact these books have felt flaps which is more robust and durable than paper flaps.

This book was a present from Mommy & Daddy’s good friend Chris! We love the bright illustrations, fun textures, and peek-a-boo surprises. The Tiger feature is especially great - War Eagle!

This is my 9 month old’s favorite book. The felt flaps are easy for her to turn up and down and the pictures are colorful and fun. She crawls over other books to get to this one!

Goed boek, maar mijn dochter lukt het niet om de flap om te slaan die naar boven openslaat. Daarom 4 sterren.
