The guyton and hall is one of the best books I have had as a student of medicine, although it is only two volumes.
However, I must admit that I liked 'the Guyton' in a special way, and this is based on a very simple reason, and that is that learning with 'the Guyton' is to really learn, reasoning the contents of the subject and building the lesson from the most basic to the most complex.

The book is full of information; content is very interesting. It can help you to form very good concepts of physiology. Since it is full of low yield content so it's not good for written exams. If you're studying for an exam, use a high yield or good review book along.

Excellent questions that are well written. Positive: there are page numbers referencing the main text where the information can be found. Negative: some of the questions do not correlate to the book at all. This is fine if you have the time to research these things or are studying them anyway. When you do not have the time to research this can lead to frustration because several of the explanations that do not reference the main text are vague or need additional pertinent information.

Oke. Almost 2000 pages. Iya, soalnya yang saya baca bukan reviewnya. Tapi sumpah, ya, asyik banget. Bismillah semoga Fisiologi besok dapat A =))
