If you’ve never read Dorothy Day’s writings or honestly even if you have, please go do yourself a favor and pick up this book. This brings together various snippets from her books and columns in an epic collection of Dorothy. When read in the Presence of the Lord (as it is named and intended), it will surely transform hearts by facilitating a deep encounter and dialogue.

Love. Her. So. Much.

This was helpful in not permitting my zeal to live poverty to quickly fade.

Read this tiny book during a retreat. It was the perfect read for me. Dorothy Day’s writings are simple and profound. You see Christ in all of the writings. Publishing’s on the Catholic Worker newspaper. Just a great book & now I’m curious about the other books in the series.
