7 books5 followersFrom Asimov to Zebrowski, B.L. Alley has been a lifelong fan of science fiction as well as darker tales of mystery and the macabre from authors like Poe and Jacobs. In his youth he also wrote many original short stories, yet he never considered writing a novel until an abandoned roadside attraction called Twin Arrows Trading Post sparked an idea for a story.
With a renewed passion for writing he eventually completed his first novel, Arbor Day, which was published in 2014. By that time a disability forced him into early retirement, so he took advantage of the free time and continued writing. Since then he has written four more novels and a number of short stories, including the three that comprise his most recent book Identity.
Mr. Alley makes his home in Northern Arizona where he is currently researching a possible forth entry in the Arosil Series.
