Alaska grew up in foster care and once she aged out of the system, she swore she would never be broke or homeless, and a chance encounter with a drug dealer taught her a life lesson at a young age- sex sales. She quickly became a self taught sugar baby, easily manipulating men and reaping the benefits of their hard work while doing nothing much in return. She finds out instantly that she’s a natural at selling fantasy and has no intention of giving up her easy lifestyles any time soon... at least not until she gets tangled up in Memphis. Memphis, with an absent father and a dead mother, has always been self sufficient. He moved just enough drugs to put himself and his brother through college and from there he took the online black market by storm, breaking into company computers and selling the information that makes him the most money. He finds himself living the good life until he gets pulled into drama surrounding his father. Paired with a woman he never thought he’d take seriously, family secrets being uncovered and a bounty on his head, the laid back life he used to revel in easily descends into chaos. A drunken chance encounter leaves Alaska and Memphis bonded for life despite their core differences. Despite Memphis unable to respect someone who makes a living depending on others and his preconceived idea of sex workers, he falls victim to his attraction to Alaska and his pride is wounded by the profession she’s become a spokesperson for. Memphis finds himself forced to swallow his pride to be with the woman he wants and see past her profession while Alaska is, in turn, given ultimatums regarding her work. Despite neither of them seeing the error of their ways, it becomes apparent quickly that there will have to be changes made whether they agree with each others' means of hustling or not.
I enjoyed this story but I felt like some of the storyline drug along to make the story longer. I really wish that Memphis' character could have had a bit more growth as the story progressed but I guess he found himself at the end. Ville's story line could have been left in the background all together and I felt like Aspen and Montana's relationship remained stagnant. However, it was a pretty decent read and I'll be checking this author out more in the future.
Yaaas my baby Memphis showed out in the finale. That's bae and it was worth the wait. I'm glad he and Alaska worked out. All she needed was someone to keep her in line which is funny because you'd think it'd be the opposite lol. I loved the book. Definitely read but Memphis is mine.
I’m sorry but this was toxic trash. It really did not need to be this long and for there to be a plot that really didn’t make any sense, like what was the goal here? I’m so so sorry but this was a waste, I should have DNF’ed it at 120pages and I truly regret that I didn’t.. the only character remotely likable was Alaska, but truly she was a fuck ass hoe also. She played with too many people hearts. Wyatt really was the star sweetheart and like able character . Aside from that through everyone else away. I wanted to like Memphis but his rudeness was just too much and it didn’t give u any laughs of warm feeling he was just angry and mean.
Val was crazy about Memphis. He did her wrong but he was honest with her. Alaska came and stole his heart. Montana and Aspen were great together they just had to iron out some kinks. Great job
WHEW CHIL, THIS WAS ONE LONG AZZ TOXIC BOOK 🤣🤣🤣. THE EDITING WAS BAD AT TIMES, BUT IT DIDN’T TAKE AWAY FROM THE BOOK. THESE CHARACTERS KEPT ME LMAO THROUGH OUT THE ENTIRE BOOK.
VAL IRKED MY MOTHERFUDGESICKLESTIX NERVES WITH HER STICK ON STUMPS DELUSIONAL AZZ🙄. SHE DRUGGED THAT MAN TO GET A BABY SHE THOUGHT WOULD MAKE HIM CHANGE HIS MIND ABOUT WANTING TO BE WITH HER ONLY TO TRY AND KILL SAID BABY BY DOING DIGS🤬🤬🤬. HER SISTER TAINA WAS SPECIAL TOO AND SHE GOT THAT BEAT DOWN FOR ALL THE ISH HER AND HER SISTER DID TO ALASKA🤣🤣🤣
HUDSON AND SHERM HAD A HAND PROBLEM AND WERE BOTH DUMB ASF AND I WAS GLAD THEY GOT RID OF THEM
LLOYD WAS TRASH 🤷🏽♀️
THAT DANG MONTANA & ASPEN BOTH GOT ON MY NERVES🤦🏽♀️. I WAS SO GLAD THEY GOT THEIR ISH TOGETHER. THEY WERE BEYOND TOXIC AND CHILDISH ASF.
VILLE WAS AN ADDED BONUS AND I WAS PROUD OF HIM FOR SENDING GIGI GOLD DIGGING AZZ ON HER WAY
MEMPHIS & ALASKA❤️🔥! THESE TWO WERE CRAZY ASF AND WERE ONLY MEANT FOR EACH OTHER. NEITHER WERE REALLY LOOKING TO SETTLE DOWN UNTIL THEY STARTED TO DEVELOP A FRIENDSHIP WITH ADDED BENEFITS, THEY HAD THEM BOTH COMING TO TERMS WITH FEELINGS THEY’D NEVER HAD. I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THEIR CRAZY JOURNEY TO LOVE. ALASKA REALLY MADE MEMPHIS A BETTER MAN AND THEIR CHILDREN CALLED HIM ALL THE WAY DOWN🥰
Lemme start by saying I like Alaska as a character, and Wyatt was perfect.
The White brothers—excluding Ville—were terrible partners. I didn’t even remotely like Montana. He shouldn’t be in a relationship, and he rarely, if ever, takes responsibility for his actions. And no, I’m not just talking about his actions with women, but with his own family as well. As for Memphis, while he had nice moments, he was so unnecessarily mean and spiteful. He had ample opportunity to get rid of Val and dragged his feet. Yet he does the most when Alaska interacts with the opposite sex 🙄. The same goes for Montana. Don’t do anything that if your partner were to do, you’d be mad and then act like you’re innocent.
Aspen needs to grow a backbone, and Alaska lets up a little too quickly regarding certain things. I don’t think either brother truly needed to be in a relationship.
This book was also much longer than it needed to be. We could've rapped this up ages ago.
Didn’t know all of that can be written in a 600 page book. Don’t let the amount of pages deter you. Overall, it was good. It was good to see how Memphis changed for Alaska. Would have loved to see the characters develop more. It was definitely different from what I expected.
The guys is this book was everything they did not come to play! The author did a great job with this story! This was my second book from the author and it want be my last bring on more crazy lol
Ain’t nothing like a woman that gets on her bag & don’t depend on a man for nothing. Alaska was very confident in who she was & wasn’t ashamed of her lifestyle. Memphis was the definition of toxic, rude & unfiltered. The banter between the two was funny & good entertainment.
