You don't read books like this for fun, you read them as the curriculum for a certification! Having said that, there is a lot of useful material here and mostly well written. It's a good reference for anyone who is tasked with building a privacy program.
I am disappointed by this book. After reading this, I (still) don’t see the use of having a privacy program manager and where the privacy program manager sits within the organisation (it apparently isn’t exactly legal, security, it or compliance) and what usually are their responsibilities. The book doesn’t dive in deep enough and some parts are mentioned multiple times.
