A brilliant political thriller, this text is a wonderful perspective into the three decade long war in Sri Lanka. It clearly highlights the international dimension of the war, bringing out how deeply connected foreign powers, the diaspora and the LTTE were in prolonging and continuing the war. The thriller also works on known conspiracy theories, linking Al-Qaeda to the LTTE. A super read.

Easily one of my most favourite books. The plot is wonderful and careful attention to detail. Has the appropriate amount of humour and puts the Tamil insurgency in Sri Lanka in perspective.
