It was like reading short blog posts about this and that luxury item, ending with one or more websites to check out. Good for leisure, but didn't get much out of it. Basically, it felt like a posh alternative to watching something random on TV or scrolling on Facebook.
The edition I read was in Romanian, by Baroque Books & Art, and I have to say reading it truly felt as a luxury: from the beautiful art on the cover, to the high quality of the physical book and the sturdy, thick, bleached paper, to the amazement and joy that I haven't found even one singe, tiny spelling or editorial or translation mistake. None.
I haven't gotten much out of it, but it relaxed me and it truly gave me a high-end experience. For that, I'd recommend it to give as a gift to someone who enjoys these kinds of things. I think it would be a really nice option :)
