At the end of Book 2 "Banking on Love" a shot that rang out across the state was heard, Cainan and AnnieMarie stood outside of work talking and leaned in towards each other to kiss, and just like that both go down but only 1 of them was shot.

Cainan Scott Wagner has worked for the Dunning Bank for two years, hired by Patriarch Hepburn Dunning he was the consummate worker, but there was one thing, he had fallen in love with AnnieMarie Dunning the daughter of Hep. The Patriarch was killed in Book 1 which led to everyone's world-changing in a matter of moments. So now the children are running the Dunning Bank Empire and also falling in love. But Cainan's secret has just been exposed which puts everyone that he knows and loves in danger.

AnnieMarie couldn't believe that the man she thought she knew was an FBI Agent and a witness against a dangerous crime family and that her dad took him into the fold to protect him at the request of Cainan's father. AnnieMarie wants answers ASAP but her first concern is Cainan's safety and that he is alive, she is in love with him (and he with her, she is his Michelle to his Barack). Cainan has answers but will AnnieMarie still want to be with him once he tells her everything? Plus he has to be reunited with his own family who believed him to be dead for two years. It's all a mess that needs to be straightened out.

But Cainan will be very surprised because his AnnieMarie is not only a fighter, she will also fight for them to be together because that's what love does.

Now there was a twist at this end of this story which makes me wonder if author Iris Bolling is going to address that sometime down the line. I sure hope so because I need answers LOL!!!

Well Until My Next Review...Ciao!

Loved the last installment in the Dunning series. This installment featured AnnieMarie Dunning and Cainan Scott. We find out more about Cainan's background and he realizes in order to protect AnnieMarie he must come out of hiding. AnnieMarie proves she has a strong determination and that determination wants a future with Cainan. Will Cainan's past catch up and end any future chance with AnnieMarie? Pick up a copy of Private Stock to find out.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this story and AnnieMarie was not one to play with. When she wants something she will stop at nothing to get it.

Great story

Ms Billing has done it again

As with all her previous writings, I'm biased, because I love almost all of them, and re-read them freqently. I see this being her another one in which I will be reading multiple times in the future.

Although it's a trilogy it gives you the impression there might be some type of follow up with Winnie, Mike & Gary's storylines, even if it's part of the same book. Hmmmm...I wonder. I guess we'll find out in the future.

It's still a great book to continue storyline (hint, hint).

And what awesome stock it turned out to be!
So I reached the conclusion of books one through three and the way this one ended, I can only hope there is another in this series dealing with how Mrs. Winnieford is going to deal with the two men I perceive will be dueling for her hand. I digress. I fell in total love with these Dunning children, their love interests, the people who are around to protect them and all of the good and not so good things that happened before they could put forth the ongoing reach for their happily ever after. Some of the things that occurred in this book had me laughing like a hyena. Other things had me mad as a hatter! Through everything that happened to, with, for and against this family, one thing remained uppermost Family Integrity First and Foremost! I anxiously await the next chapters in the lives of the Dunnings especially since by that time at least three of Hep and Winnie's children will be married! I like how they vanquished all of their enemies one by one and in some really classy ways from shipping Jonathan's messy dad back to the UK, to lowering the boom to the board of the bank Richard Dewberry chaired about Dewberry's illegal actions, to the scaring of one of the crime families Cainan was testifying against, to the beat down of the woman who tried to tempt Hep years ago and now tried to work to destroy the family and their bank, to the knowing of further family secrets and how to discreetly handle those secrets to the joining of Cainan and AnnieMarie's families through their surprise marriage put on by their collective family members, to the wedding bash for Myles and Christyna and the upcoming nuptials for Jonathan and Grace! There were some really wild rides in this story that I am glad I had the opportunity to take with this family on! Ms. Bolling, you officially have a fan for life! I loved these stories and look forward to reading all of the ones I missed and all of the ones coming after these! The Dunning and Wagner families personified family loyalty, trust and having each other's backs. Jonathan and Preston and Jonathan's mother Monica fit quite well in the dynamics of the Dunning family too. I was most pleased to see how the Dunning family honored their new found cousin (Preston) by enfolding him in their arms and hearts and keeping him and his mother safe and close. One thing Ms. Bolling, I like that you gave these family members a forgiving heart towards the mother of their cousin who I really do not believe knew the real intent of the man she was in love with Walker Dunning towards Hep Dunning! Family secrets are something else when they start falling out of the closet, huh? You did this family's story proud even though I know the characters are fictional, you still did them proud! I enjoyed this story and the ones before it immensely! Thank you!

The prologue started out with a bang. Then the pace leveled off to me and proceeded to slow down. The pace did pick up and I was completely engrossed in the story.

This wasn't only AnnieMarie and Cainan's story, although there was a good amount of focus on them. This was a Dunning family story. I loved how they held a level of professionalism and sophistication, yet could get down and dirty when necessary. I also didn't think I would like Gina based on her behavior in the first book, but she has become one of my favorite characters.

I get so tired of reading books where the bad actors (criminals, people with nasty attitudes, untrustworthy individuals, etc.) get away with their despicable behavior. Not so with this book, and it was oh so satisfying.

Everyone seemed to get their HEA, sort of. There was a hint at the end that makes me wonder if we are done with the Dunning family. I can only hope not. Rating: 4.5 Stars.

Private Stock (The Dunning Trilogy Book 3)

I am so glad I bought this series. From 📖 1, the author Iris Bolling had my undivided attention. Relatable characters that are well fleshed-out. A great storyline with enemies galore trying to bring their banking company to ruins. The Dunning family share a close bond, are loving, and loyal as well.

But don't cross or cause harm to them or their significant others. Dunnings 💘 hard and there will defintely be repercussions for whoever wanted to cause problems. I would recommend these 📚 for readers who appreciate action, mystery and suspense.

Slept on this series, but I'm woke now!!!!

Ok, so I have read all but three of Ms. Iris Boilings books and the three that I had not read were the Dunning trilogy. When Ms. Iris put all of the beginning books of all of her series on sale for free, I decided, what the heck, I'll read the first one and if I don't like it, I won't have paid money for it, so I'm good. Don't know why I underestimated Ms. Boiling, but I was wrong. I fell in love with this family after the first couple of chapters. It was the women in this series for me!! They are all smart, capable, and a little cray cray(sounds like me). The ending left you wanting more. Great read as usual. Well done!!

I read Book 1 many many months ago, promising myself I would get around to Book 2. This book in all of its time never left me for long. Finally, I got the chance to read all three and WOW! just wow. I want more. I love the theme of the big brother running through all books. This wasn't like a moving on, this was one story told beautifully cleanly and coherently throughout. Seamless. Loved them. Looking for more all the while wishing Dad was still alive. What the parents' love must have been like to witness and absorb.

Fantastic

I loved the whole series. I laughed at times and cried for loss they went through. There were times when I laughed and cried at the same time. I really want a story for Gary, Mike, Preston and Winnie. I think that Winnie has a choice to make, but the only man that will give her the time, comfort and strengthen she will need is Jerome. Because of his respect for Hepburn and the love they shared. So I will be waiting for the next installment of the Running family.

Family, Integrity and Love

I love how each book focused on a particular couple but continued with the storyline of each of the Dunning siblings. Anne-Marie was the baby of the family, but she was one tough cookie. She and Cainian went through a lot to be together. It was worth the wait. The Dunnings drama and how they fought together made this trilogy great. Kudos to Iris Boilling on writing about another amazing family. Loved this series.

Cainan Scott is the the Witness Protection Progam and has been discovered by the people he was hiding from. He loves AnneMarie but was trying to keep her out of harms way. She of course was not having it. The back drop of people trying to undermine Myles as head of the Bank and destroy Dunning Bank and Trust, made it so the book was hard to put down. I loved the story. Just want to know what happens with the mother, Winfred. She has a few men trying to persue her.

Family over everything!

What a fantastic read. Family, adventure, intrigue, mystery, romance, comedy, and life. Strong female characters holding their own and kicking arse. Make characters the held down the fort, respected the intelligence and beauty of the women. Great to read how both worked together seamlessly to work through turmoil, corporate espionage and life. Great, great read!

2 weddings and more to come

This is an awesome conclusion to the Dunnings trilogy. There is intrigue mystery and death but love is a dominant thread. Myles and Chrystina and AnnieMarie and Canian give the story happy feelings. Jonathan and Grace show us why they are made for each other. Mother Winnieford is the Matriarch is the glue now that Hep is no longer with them. Loved everything about this book

Thoroughly entertaining

As per usual Ms Iris did her thang. She kept the continuity throughout the series. She know how to express black love, family faith and unity. Her wit is on par with the wisdom and growth she expresses through each character antagonist and good alike. More, more, more.

If I tell you this series was everything to me! The Dunnings are an absolutely amazing family that stands ten toes down for one another. All of the action and chaos makes for an excellent ending in book three. I do believe my favorite part of this book is when the ladies decide to go out to the club. Winniford is absolutely hilarious when she let's her hair down.

Very disappointed

I enjoyed the first two books, however at times this one bordered on the ridiculous. Had I not spent money I would not have finished it. Some of the behavior of Grace, AnnieMarie and Winnie was totally unbelievable for a family of their stature. Iris Boling you can do better.

oh what a ride

I have enjoyed all of these books in the Dunning trilogy but this one was the best out of them all. There was intrigue murder fighting and love lots of it if you can find all this in book then you have a story. What I didn’t like was that we did not find out about the other stories.

Another great read, I loved the storyline and characters. Cainan and AnnieMarie are a great match. They overcame their obstacles and got their forever. The Dunning family worked together to defeat their enemies. While this book was a great ending to the series, I'm hoping it isn't. After all there's still Mike, Gary, Preston and Gina who need stories of their own. Not to say Momma Winnie needs her own story.

This was a slow read for me. I expected more action to hold my attention. Great read just need more suspense up front. The Dunning family has competition an along with the star witness of a mov family being exposed leaves this a interesting novel, up until the last page.

I loved this trilogy but I believe it can be expanded. There is so much more drama to be had with Mike and Gary. Can't wait to see what future holds for those two and agent Chase.
