Beautiful photographs! Interesting historical comments on Chinese glass, the manufacture and use and reverence they had for glass. Interesting how attitudes changes with the changing emperors. I was a little lost in discussions of Chinese geography, (an inserted map would have been extremely helpful!) and the various emperors (there WAS a timeline...)
