I received an ARC from the author at my request and this is my honest opinion. First off, I have to admit that this is not my normal genre; I'm more into murder mystery, crime, and thriller novels. I have read many of Mr. Sylcox's crime novels so when I had the opportunity to read this one I took it; and even though it is outside my norms, I was very glad I did. Mr. Sylcox builds tension very well in his work and this was no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed my little "sojourn" at Harding High School and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a different type of "scary book". This one will definitely fit the bill.
