Inspiring!

The strength and resilience of cancer survivors always amazes me, and author Bobbi Lynn Sudberry is certainly no exception.
But she so much more than a survivor...
she is, indeed, a conquerer.
In "C is for Conquer," she takes us through a harrowing (yet somehow hopeful) journey of unfathomable loss, cancer treatments, and the courageous fight back to mental and physical restoration.
Her willingness to share this process so candidly during a time of great hardship speaks of the immense love, determination, and generosity that are her core.
I highly recommend this book to cancer patients, survivors in general, and anyone in persuit of better overall health. There are many useful tidbits and tools throughout that can benefit all of us.
I didn't want to put this one down!

If you are on the cancer journey or know someone who is please read C is for Conquer. Bobbi is a straight talker. She shows insight in the journey that most people do not see. Her humor is so refreshing and the information she shares is useful in so many ways. I have been on that journey but after reading C is for Conquer I am looking at it in a new light. Thank you for all the insight you have shared with us. God Bless You!

Inspiring, insightful, hopeful and helpful is what comes to mind after reading “C is for Conquer.” I never knew cancer could be so debilitating as I have never really dealt with cancer directly or indirectly. “C is for Conquer” gave me a new perspective on numerous levels: the patient, those that love them, caregivers and practitioners. It is comical at times, but it appears to me the author used humor to cope. Watch those toilet seat covers, they can come out of nowhere. What really stood out for me is how well the author advocated for herself. I really liked how she stood her ground when necessary. I applaud her strength and hope others can draw the same from “C is for Conquer.” I had always been one to just do what the doctor says without question, not any more. “C is for Conquer” isn’t just for people dealing with cancer it is for anyone dealing with a challenging illness. You can apply the lessons in “C is for Conquer” to any challenging situation you may encounter. An enjoyable, eye opening read and this is coming from someone that is not so much into reading. ~ Cathy Sandberg, Retired entrepreneur, Glendale Chamber of Commerce Member

When I was 17 I lost my father to pancreatic cancer. For a long time I was very conflicted as his choice was not to proceed with chemo due to the type of cancer he had. It was not until years later when I have had many friends and other families afflicted with cancer that I understood what a personal choice this is, and how it affects your body. I also had no idea of the lifestyle choices once could make outside of smoking that can prevent cancer, such as diet and stress. Bobbi's book gives the reader a first hand accounting of the experience that cancer patients and their families go through, along with a checklist of considerations when seeking treatment.

The joy of reading the book is that you realize that Bobbi never once looks at life from the lens of a victim. In her lifelong journey for a peaceful life she has faced many struggles, but helps the reader truly understand how to be an advocate and create your own wins. Bobbi's story is heroic, and will leave you feeling inspired and invincible through teaching you how to conquer your obstacles and overcome your fears. Do not miss this book!

C is for Conquer is a raw look inside Bobbi's struggles, from losing a daughter, to losing a sister, to being diagnosed with cancer. Bobbi shares in such a wholehearted and honest way that you feel like you are walking with her. You will laugh, cry, and stand amazed at this woman's faith, courage and strength. It will encourage you to be your own advocate, do your own research, deal with the emotional component, and truly fight for your health until you too are a conquerer!
