This is a wordbook for mathematics. Series of informal pictures illustrate words and phrases connected with mathematical topics in a relevant context. The index lists the words children in primary schools can be expected to want to find. Thus children can use the book to browse among pictures, acquiring vocabulary in the process, or they can use it as a picture dictionary.

Mathwords by Carol Jenkins is a maths book for young children. A bright and colourful book which can be useful for visual learners as it contains many pictures (maybe too many!).

I personally found the book a little messy and thought that it may confuse children slightly.
