This Reformed Expository Bible Study is designed for personal and group use. Each lesson connects to the rest of the Bible and holds to the same standards as the Reformed Expository Commentary series: a high view of Scripture; a Christ-centered focus; a Reformed theological basis; and an emphasis on personal application and prayer.
Jon Nielson has worked as director of training for the Charles Simeon Trust, an organization that provides training in biblical exposition. He is currently college pastor at College Church in Wheaton, Illinois, and is author of Bible Study: A Student's Guide.
13 sets of study questions on the book of Galatians. The questions help readers to observe the text as well as understand it as well as applying it to our lives. I really liked the way questions were related to historical confessions such as the Westminster as well as historical Christian figures like John Knox. A great reminder that we shouldn't think that we interpret scripture in a vacuum. Instead we are part of a great tradition and heritage!
