Rate this book
Each volume in the series Isotopes in Organic Chemistry is centered around a special theme linking the various chapters together. Thus the previous volumes dealt Isotopes in Molecular Rearrangements; Isotopes in Hydrogen Transfer Processes; Carbon-13 in Organic Chemistry; Tritium in Organic Chemistry; Isotopes in Cationic Reactions; Isotopic Recent Developments in Theory and Experiment; and Secondary and Solvent Isotope Effects.

This eighth volume deals with heavy atom isotope effects. Undoubtedly, the application of these effects will play an expanding role in future research. The surveys contained in this book are intended as an aid to the research worker, and more importantly to act as a stimulus for further research.
