Fantastic book. I used it for a Data Cleansing course for which there was no textbook. As others on this site have written, the author leads you by the hand, even with installing SQL Server 2019 on your computer. I highly recommend this book. Even if you're teaching yourself T-SQL, you cannot go wrong using this book.

The author Dusan, in my opinion has under-promised and over delivered. This book is fairly exhaustive covering all aspects of SQL Server in that it would serve well for a DB specialist, a DBA, and even a BIDW specialist.

This is a must have book on your team's desk for quick reference and comfortable reading, if you are working on SQL Server at work. It has innumerable tips that the author has shared from his real-world experience on how to look for and go about fixing things.

I have recommended this book in my circuit within the company and would recommend to you as well, esp. if you are looking to have just that one book for everything from learning to quick reference.
