I found this book to be very inspirational. It has been written by the founder of Alesis, making excellent quality audio products with added novelty. I appreciate this book, because it is very down to earth, focusing on 'can do', cost-efficient approach to making your own silicon product. It covers both analog and digital design to be a one-stop-shop on silicon development.
