In this insightful training guide, Mac Lake brings over thirty years’ experience of coaching church and organizational leaders. Biblically grounded and with practical examples, as well as questions to spark thought, discussion, and application, Leading Leaders will help leaders to personally grow in their relationship with Christ and enable them to develop the skills required to lead others well. Designed not just to impart information but to bring transformation, this book covers six key areas essential for effective leadership. An ideal resource for churches that want to help their own leaders to develop the character and competency required to lead other leaders.
Another good study guide for developing leaders (or coaches) who themselves are developing leaders in a ministry setting. This book is again intensely practical and is a great guide to developing leaders and their leaders. Like his other books, I suspect that it will be best to use the steps enumerated and processes described as a thorough guideline rather than a straitjacket.
Another great guide from Mac Lake. We’ll be using it at our church as we continue to develop leaders. The character traits provide such a great underscore to the heart of each competency. Looking forward to going through it with more leaders.
A thoroughly practical guide concerning how to find, prepare, organize and shepherd leaders. One can read the book in 2-4 hours with ease. It would serve as workbook to continually reference when trying to grow one’s church.
