Heart of Sin

Rate this book
Ashton Sinclair is the quintessential gentleman villain – well-mannered, outrageously wealthy and successor to a long line of spectacularly ruthless men. He reigns over the NYC underworld. They say he has no heart, that he will kill with that soft, impersonal smile that rarely leaves his face. They say he lost his soul when his wife was murdered. They are not wrong. He is monster and he is knight, and destiny has its own plan.

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Okay, I have to be honest. Mafia romances usually are not on the top of my list for romance reads.

But this novel changed my mind real quick, I swear. It was so good..sigh. Let me explain.

The romance in itself, the steam, the connection between the two characters, mm I really loved it. Kinda made me wish I had someone like that, to be honest.

Despite them being from different worlds, it was fantastic and heartwarming to see them together, and battle obstacles in their way.

Beautiful really.

I hope to read more from this series, and continue to enjoy this author's marvelous writing.

Until the next read,

Wasn’t drawn in right at the beginning of the story, but it grew on me. Sin has a lot of inner turmoil about his life and choices he’s made, and about his deceased wife, and is desperate to make better choices.
Giovanna is the wide-eyed innocent who falls for him, hook, line, and sinker, but really knows nothing about the man behind the facade.
How they meet in the middle, so to speak, is a good tale, although somewhat rushed.
Good read, any way you look at it.
