Indigo Revolution: Change the Systems. Change the World.

Rate this book
A system is a set of beliefs. For example, culture, religion, government, and even money are all systems. They require specific beliefs to work. Money has value because collectively we all accept and believe that it does. Beliefs are all that keeps the systems running. A belief is just a thought that you keep thinking. Beliefs are passed on from generation to generation. We inherit them. We adopt them from books, TV, pop culture, and social media. These beliefs govern every aspect of our lives. They are designed to limit us. The systems control us because we let them. We let them because collectively society is unaware of them. However, there are some people that are aware of the systems and thus immune to their control – I call these people Indigo.

Awareness is what causes the systems to fail. Indigos are conscious of the systems making us system busters. We are creating change by asking – Why are things the way they are when we know that life can be better? We can change the status quo. In order to do that we have to stop going along with the old ways. We have to quit doing what is considered “normal.”

Indigos do things differently; we can’t function any other way. Our defiance makes a difference. It snaps others out of running on autopilot. We’re waking people up. Our numbers are increasing. Radical change can happen in an instant. It’s never been easier to communicate and organize. We can establish new systems that benefit the many instead of the few. We are the ones the world has been waiting for.

Along with this great responsibility and pressure, Indigos’ heightened awareness, sensitivities, and inability to follow the crowd can lead to a number of everyday life challenges. Being an Indigo I have personal experience with these challenges and share what I’ve learned on how to cope. Know that you are not alone.

This book will remind you of what you already know. It will remind you of who you really are and what you’re capable of. It will teach how to live the life you always knew deep down was possible. It will show you where we’re all headed. This is a book by an Indigo for Indigos. Being Indigo is not something to overcome – it’s who you are. It's time to become who you were always meant to be.

A must read!

This book will make you laugh, make you think, and make you question. I suppose not everyone will relate to all aspects of the "indigo" identity, but there is a little something for everyone and for those that fully relate a sense of understanding and community that you will never experience in the day to day world. I can't say I agree with all the ideas and theories, and my "indigo" approach has taken me in very different directions, some would probably argue a more system conforming approaches, but this book still provided a lot of affirmation and support. This is a well researched and welll thought out book. I recommend every one give it a skim, and if it is meant to be, it will certainly suck you in, and if it doesn't peak your I yerest, we can't all be indigo.
