I LOVED this book as a child. I read them myself as a young reader and I thought the stories were so magical. Now reading them to my 3 year old and she LOVES them as well.

I wish I could find it in English, though.

Really lovely stories for the littles. It's also has delightful illustrations by Shirley Hughes which adds to its charm.

I read it as a child, and am reading it again with my daughter. Very nice stories, about playing outside with the world to discover. What every childhood should look like!

The first part of this book is pretty much all short stories and they are all great. Towards the end, there are a few slightly longer stories. My 5 year old nephew was still able to sit through them but it was a little bit of a stretch. But overall, he said he liked all of the stories and called them all "awesome." :o)
