Drystan and his new friend, Durward, are off to have an adventure, but along the way, they stop to help some little birds. Who doesn’t love dragons! And they come in different colors! Drystan is red and Durward is blue. Find out what happens when the dragons are happy. Why are they flying to the Land of Rainbows? This story is about the importance of having friends and helping others. It is a wonderful tale written in rhyme that will appeal to young children, whether they are read to or able to read themselves. Janice Spina has clearly remained true to her belief that books for children should be wholesome and teach life lessons. The book is colorfully illustrated by her husband, John Spina. I highly recommend Drystan the Dragon and Friends Series, Book 1 Drystan and Durward Save the Day.

The Land of Rainbows
Two dragon friends, Drystan (a red dragon) and his friend Durward (a blue dragon), and one big adventure in the beautiful Land of Rainbows! These two colorful characters will capture a child’s imagination and teach them something really neat: the true meaning of friendship. I hope that the imaginative illustrations and the fun storyline will awaken the desire of kids to help others. Through the strong narratives, the Spinas convey a great message of kindness, caring, and loving the person next to you. It is a great reminder to the world—improve your act every chance you get, because it always pays to be kind and sensitive instead of mean and cruel. Another wonderful book by the talented team of Janice and John Spina, which teaches the lesson of humanity and understanding. It’s one that young children must learn at a very early age.

A fun way to begin this series of books about dragons. Drystan the Dragon and Friends Series, Book 1 is written in rhyme with life lessons and fun adventures. Children will enjoy reading about Drystan and learn some valuable life lessons at the same time about being kind, caring and respectful of others, it’s okay to be different, and help others in need.

Perfect for little kids with the pictures. The storyline is easy to understand & teaches a kind life lesson. The Dragons are colorful & fun to follow. Drystan & his new friend Durward have a fun adventure in the Land of Rainbows!
