This is one of the funniest books I've ever read. Yoho writes as Kansans speak, creating a sense of place that is his mythical vision of prohibition era Kansas. The Moon Butter Route follows the adventures of a young Kansas boy as he deals with the trials of growing up; goats, cornets, girls and moonshine.
