A book of humor from America's major military actions. I enjoyed it, many of the jokes were good, and it gave some interesting introspection of the history and the soldiers of the U.S. military. It did have some problems; there were repeat jokes, it included dozens of songs and poems about lice (many of which were so similar it was hard to tell them apart), and some things that were really not funny at all. Worth a read, especially for someone interested in soldiers and the military, but it could be well served by some tighter editing.

I forget if I bought this at the PX or not, but it was an amusing book. Not every joke in it is amazing, but no joke book is. It was an interesting walk though military humor over time.
