Well, this book exploded a story that I was taught in school - that O'Connor killed himself because he believed his pipeline project would fail. For that alone it was worth the read. Sadly light on insights into O'Connor's character, with the result that the man is not fully fleshed out. Possible there wasn't a lot of material available about the man himself
