The advantage of free style embroidery is that you don't need to buy a special even weave type fabric to do it. You can embroidery on almost any fabric with the right needle and threads and embellish purchased items as well. This book explores most of the many stitches you can use, gives a lot of nice designs and some projects. The last section offers ideas to adapt and interpret the designs for your own use. A nice book to begin to explore this type of needlework.
