Fairly quick read and entertaining. I looked for something like this when we were in Banff but didn't find anything. Found this at a thrift store for $.25 so I read it and did my best to remember the area it discusses. Makes me wonder how much geologists have learned about the area in the last 50 years since it was written

More than anything this is a great tour book of the park. There are wonderful photos and write ups, however, the geology of the park is not written about enough as it should be. Especially with a title such as this.
