David Sheidecker was an educator at my high school. He had a great impact on me as a teenager, and when I decided to become a high school English teacher, I decided to read his book. This book talks about what qualities make up a "legendary teacher". In order to become a legend, one must be passionate, dedicated, and always improving in your profession. I absolutely loved reading this book because David Sheidecker was a legend, and this was like getting a transparent look at his play book. I am grateful for people like him and other great educators that have inspired me to work in the field that I am in.
