Publisher's original dark green cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine and front cover, color pictorial dust jacket, 4to. The Tibetan collection of the Los Angeles Museum of Art is one of the most significant and comprehensive outside of Tibet, built around the Nasli and Alice Heeramanock Collection and including paintings collected in the 1930s by Tibetologist Giuseppe Tucci (from jacket flap). The volume closes with an appendix on inscriptions by H. E. Richardson. This work was distributed by Harry N. Abrams in New York. No ownership marks and no signs of use.
