This is an excellent series
Although there are very few known female serial killers, there are many women who kill. As this volume points out, many women consider it as an alternative to divorce. If they don't get caught, they get to keep the material possessions, often with the bonus of insurance benefits.
Some of these monster mothers kill their children. Is it to avoid the burden of raising them? Oh, I know God tells them to do it, but how disturbed must a mother be to violate the laws of nature?
Then there are the jealous women who eliminate their rivals. Do they really believe their lovers will fall into their arms in gratitude? That's not how it works, ladies. Now you've lost everything. I've yet to meet a man worth murdering for.

Great Reads
I enjoyed reading this because you read the cases of each women individually. It is never boring because you aren't bogged down in details.

Another winner
Robert Keller is a prolific author which makes me very happy because I love his books. Most of the are quick read true crime anthologies. I would have given this five stars but I had actually read about several of the female killers in this book and usually his cases are quite obscure. It's still a great book and for someone looking into getting into true crime might well start with his titles.

Crazy women killers
It's easy to read this book, but in reality, it's awful what people do to one another. They kill or order someone to kill, without thinking about it.
It's a well written book. It keeps your attention. I can't wait to read the next one.
