Dracones & Dragonkind (Book 1)

A born guardian—dragon shifter Daimon had to save the witch twins …
…even if it meant diving into an imploding portal.
When he saw the tall Irod demon kidnapping the two teenagers, he didn’t think, just acted.
Because though he was only eighteen-years-old, it was his nature to protect.
Only, Daimon never planned on being trapped in a strange realm really far from home. A realm filled with deadly creatures out to eat his scaly butt—wings and all.
Still, with his strength and power, and two witches on his side, they should be safe, right?
Maybe they’ll even be able to figure out a way to get back to their own world.
In order to survive, choices are made, but as time passes, Daimon begins to question who the real monsters are. Could the price of his decisions cost more than they’re worth?
Get it now, and join Daimon and the twins as they fight to survive.
This is a clean, paranormal/fantasy story with a sweet little side-slice of romance.

There are those that do not like being left hanging on to a story they get wrapped up in. Sorry in advance, but let me say this you will be happy that you read it. We get to see so much.

The best part of this all were the fantastic character, the phenomenal world building, adventure, romance, and more. I for one am a fan of the Dracones series. I love dragons. I love the adventures. I want you to love them too. If you are new to the series dive in right here. If you are patient and want the best experience of the world(s) created by Sheri-Lynn then go back to the beginning of the Dracones series. You will not be disappointed. There something for all to love and explore.

Dragonsworn Guardian
Daimon is a young Dragonkind, guardians and protectors of their world. He sees a large red-skinned demon abducting two Ilyium children he must intervene. His giant black as midnight dragon exploded through the portal thinking to save the children from the Irod Demons. The Portal explodes leaving him trapped on their world, Kalesia. He grabs the children and they barely escape. He had rescued the most powerful witch children of the Ilyuim, Caro and her brother Elan.
They need to learn about this new world and adapt fast if they want to live. There are many beautiful dangers. Mutant butterflies that shoot green goop that destroys plants. Strange eight-legged humped beast that provide transport. The demons are slowly losing a battle to the mutant butterflies. The Butterflies are destroying their food sources. Demons have been kidnapping Ilyium witch children to help them survive.
This is a very fast-paced book. You will be on the edge of your seat. Will they ever be able to return to their world and families, or will they learn to integrate with the Irod Demons? Who/what is the voice that is talking to Daimon in his mind? What is a Celtylight? I really enjoyed this book, and I can’t wait until the next one to find out more.
If you have read any of the Dracones or 52 Realm books you are in for a treat. If you have not, you will still enjoy this book and then you can explore all the rest.

Wow just wow this book was so amazing the story line was intriguing and captivating. The characters were amazingly well written and Is engaging. This series is so great I've enjoyed every book I've read I always look forward to each new book by this author. Falling through a portal after two kids kidnapped by the demons Dai blows up the portal and they are trapped in another realm. A realm where creatures attack on a daily basis and they have to survive and make a life for themselves until they can find their way home. Will they do it I guess you'll have to read the book to find out. This book blew me away. It takes place where Primalthorn kinda left off with the twins and the young dragon shifter going through the portal. The descriptions of the world on the other side of the portal are so detailed it was easy to picture the place in my mind.
We get to know Dai a dragon shifter son of Skulla. Dai is true to his lineage he does everything in his power to protect the witch twins.
I love the bond Dai and the twins form over time and how the come to think of each other as family and best friends.
Definitely a fantastic

Nooooo not a cliff hanger!
Bad Bad Sheri-Lynn Marean! Leaving me in a bad spot. I seriously want the whole series now ♡. A great addition to the previous series. And just for anyone's information you definitely need to read the previous series before starting this one.
Wow where to start. Adventure, magic, monsters and romance too. Everything you want in a book brought to life in your mind and sucks you right in at the very first page. I did not want to put this book down once I started it.
Daimon knew something bad was going to happen when he ducked in after the children. But he never imagined a world he landed in to be so beautiful, and deadly too. But of course why shouldn't it, with the demons running all over it. Coupled with two human witches to look after and keep safe. He just can't seem to catch a break. He honestly has one wish to get back home... but it that really all that he wants?

Dragonsworn Guardian: Dragon Shifter ~ Witch Paranormal Fantasy Other Realms (Dracones & Dragonkind)
By Sheri Lynn Marean. 4.5 Stars

Another Fantastic Story about yet another new world in in which to get lost in. Dragonkind, Ilium witches, the Irod and so many more new characters will emerge throughout this story. Some good, some bad but because of past mistakes years and years ago this world is dying.
When Dani as a young Dragon Guard tries to save the twins they are thrust through a portal into this world. And I've got to say that it turns out to be just the beginning of a fascinating journey to try and get home.

The author amazes me with what her mind can create.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Dragonsworn Guardian by Sheri-Lynn Marean is an amazing addition to her Dracones/Dragonkin series. This is Daimon, Caro and Elan's story and picks up at the Irod attack. I highly recommend reading this series (previous series) in order to enjoy the full impact of this story. Sheri-Lynn Maren is a gifted writer that shares experiences with her reader. You actually feel like you are there alongside the characters. (I found myself ducking on more than one occasion and grabbing tissues.) Dragonsworn Guardian answers so many questions and opens up so many more avenues I want to explore. This is a clean read that is emotionally charged. Prepare to be delighted and entertained!

So yes, I highly recommend this fans of fiction & now I’m looking forward to more!

This is the 3rd of Sheri-Lynn's books I have read and this didn't disappoint. The vivid imagination and talent of being able to create such amazing creatures, both good and bad, is nothing short of amazing. The story is sweet with enchanting characters. The desires of the characters, the betrayals, the scenery - all are described to such an extent that you are immediately transported into the story and live through the emotions, pain, suspicions on every level. I loved the book and look forward to more. I thoroughly recommend this author.

Good story full of action and suspense. The characters are well done and the story flows nicely. The world that the story is set in is rich and detailed and well enough described that it makes it feel real. The characters are similarly well written and feel and act like people you might actually meet in the street.

Loved this book, it tells you what happened to the twins when they went through the portal, and why the war started, how they come back a thousand years later but to them it's only been 10 years, if you loved reading Dracones and Dragonkind you are going to love this book, can't wait to see what happens in the next book,

My, oh my!!! Sheri-Lynn Marean does it again. While this could be a stand a lone, it's a great prequel to the Dracones/52 Realms. I would recommend this book and author to anyone who likes PNR. I so enjoy this author's style and creativity.

Time Lapse

In the blink of an eye a choice will be made and the consequences will be felt for longer than can be imagined.

Being a dragon that protects the weak is what his family does and he was raised to do. As one of the youngest of thirty-two siblings he tries to do his best. Little did he understand at the time making a split second decision to rescue some young witches would alter his life course.

Finding out more about the youngest brother Daimon and the with twins was a great plus in this book. I read this book in on sitting because I could not put it down until I found out what happened to them in the end. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

You can't go wrong with a dragonkind book.
